Hello Again!

Six months have passed and a lot has happened. We've settled into our new house and are enjoying life with a FOUR year old and NINE MONTH old.  Where does the time go?

Today we are stuck at home because both girls have the stomach flu. As I was reading my friend Annica's blog this morning I felt inspired to get back on track with the blog, if only to help me remember all of Cammie's milestones.  It is so much fun to look back on Allie's early life, and I want the same for Cammie.

Here are Cammie's six month and nine month stats.   Unlike her big sister, I am having a ton of problems introducing solids to her. She hasn't liked them, has had skin rashes, vomit and overall food sensitivity.  At this point I do not think she has allergies, but it is stressful to be basically exclusively breastfeeding a 9.5 month old and worrying if everything is okay with her.  She is also very mobile, and very active. Much more than Allie was. We think it is because she is trying to keep up with big sis! So, that may also account for her being a little peanut! :)

Cammie six month stats:
Weight: 15 pounds, 13 oz (50%)
Height: 26 1/8 inches (75%)

Allie six month stats:
Weight: 17 pounds, 8 oz (75%)
Height: 26 inches (50%)

Cammie nine month stats:
Weight: 16 pounds, 10 oz (25%)
Height: 28 inches (75%)
Head: 16.75 inches (25%)

Allie nine month stats:
Weight: 20 pounds, 13 oz (80%)
Height: 27.5 inches (60%)

Cammie continues to be an easy going, happy, and content baby.  It is so easy to cart her around to Allie's activities and run errands with her. Every time I pick her up from the gym daycare, or BSF kid's program I get the feedback that she is so happy and so easy. I agree! I think it helps that she is not only showered with love by her mom and dad, but that she has a big sister who takes her role very seriously and loves on Cammie so well. It is so fun to see! At nine months Cammie:

--Has 2 bottom teeth (just like big sis did)
--Is crawling EVERYWHERE. And, she is fast!
--Can wave hi (I think)
--Says dadadadada, mamamama, and baaaabaaabaa. I really think she is trying to say Bella. Every time I call Bella, she says baaabaaabaaa.
--LOVES, LOVES, LOVES big sister Allie.  It is a wonderful thing that the feeling is mutual.
--She seems very independent, but also very social.  She loves to make eye contact with everyone she sees, and then smile, flirt and turn on the charm.  She is a hit everywhere she goes.

Now I'll add pictures from each of the months I've missed. I'll upload house photos soon. I know people have been asking.

AUGUST

One of the first mornings in our new house. Happy girls and happy mommy!

Allie loves to dress up in my shoes. It is a good thing someone is wearing my heels!

We went to San Diego with my family for vacation and made a special trip to Disneyland for one day. Allie was in HEAVEN!  I can see why people say Disney is magical...because through the eyes of a three year old it is!

Meeting her favorite princess.

Cousin time in California.

My friend Lisa came for a visit from Chicago and it was my first time out without kids since Cammie's birth.  A photo of the Lisa's and the Katie's! :)

Lisa, Katie, Lisa, Katie :)

Cammie isn't cute or anything.

SEPTEMBER

A visit from my dear friend Annica. Her son Wyatt and Allie had a blast playing together.

The best things about living on a lake? Boat rides and fishing!

Allie's back to school haircut.

First day of school.

Cammie got baptized by her Uncle John wearing the baptismal gown her great grandma made and her daddy and big sister wore at their baptisms.  So special!

I love how closely she is watching her uncle.

Boppa and Allie decorated the cake.

Great grandma's birthday.

Enjoying birthday cake!

First field trip to an apple orchard.

OCTOBER

Finally, a family photo!

Look at those eyes!

We went to a play at Stages Theater (Lily's Purple Plastic Purse) with Allie's best buddy from the Berry Patch (Claire).

First solids. Unfortunately, she hasn't progressed much past this.  I love how much Allie helps me!

Allie's football team.  Yes, she was the only girl, but she held her own and made her daddy very proud!

Allie's favorite fleece heart pants that she wears every day. Needless to say, I'm doing laundry frequently!

Halloween!

Trick or Treating!

NOVEMBER

We took professional shots of the girls for the first time ever. We also took them with their cousins, Brennan, Gavin and Declan as a Christmas gift for Barb.  I know I'm biased, but these kids are pretty cute!

Welcome to the world Jonathan David, born on November 8th to Tim, Sarah and big brother Caleb.

Big girl!

Cammie and the Cargill cow, a favorite toy.

Playing princess with the two girls that live across the street. We are blessed to live in an awesome neighborhood with wonderful neighbors.

Gagu's birthday!

The weekend after Thanksgiving we took a little staycation and spent the weekend at a hotel in downtown St. Paul. We went to the Children's Museum, the Science Museum, and to River Falls, WI to celebrate Dave's birthday at Vanessa and Dave's new house.  It was a blast to get away, even for a few days.

Daddy and his girls at the Science Museum.

Family dinner out.

DECEMBER

My loves!

Guess who did her own hair?

It was fun to decorate our new house.

Thanks for the stockings Aunt Sue!

Allie and I baked and decorated 60+ cookies for a cookie exchange.

Cammie wasn't sure about Santa.

She liked daddy's beer a whole lot more!

Me and my girls.

Poppy came to Allie's Christmas recital at school and took us all out to lunch after. What a treat!

Mommy took Cammie Christmas shopping and she got eaten by TC Bear! :)

Almost crawling!

Tim, Sarah, Caleb and Jonathan were in town for Christmas.  It was so fun to spend time with them! We just need them to move to Minnesota! :)

Decorating cookies.  Allie was really good this year.

The guys with their littles.

The two Dan's at church on Christmas Eve.

My mom got Cammie this toy that was a hit with ALL the kids!

The day after Christmas we took just Allie to the Wizard of Oz at the Ordway. We all loved it.

We celebrated Christmas the Saturday after Christmas with the Mauer's and went sledding. It was so fun! Here is Allie with Boppa.

JANUARY

The rosy cheeks of teething.

I had to put one photo of Bella in the mix.  Sweet puppy.

We have the BEST sledding hill in our backyard.  Although it has been a cold winter, we have had some warm days, perfect for sledding.

FINALLY, Cammie eats some sweet potatoes!  Progress!

Allie turned four yesterday and we had her friend party on Saturday.  She wanted a Frozen cake, and an arts and crafts party.  It was so much fun!

The cake.

All the girls, except Priya who was a little shy and didn't want to be in the photo and Camille who was sick.

Phew! That was a long update. I hope to be back on track with updating regularly.  Hope you all are staying warm this chilly winter!
