Jackson Hole

We got back last week from a family vacation to Jackson Hole. We went to celebrate my cousin Bill's wedding to Laura, but we ended up going for about a week and had a blast!

Here's the one shot of the wedding. My brother John was the officiant. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception.

We took a hike at Jenny Lake with Josiah, Mercy, and Mary.

Allie is ready to go!

Josiah made it all the way to Inspiration Point!

This is what happened at the end of the hike. It can't be good for Allie's neck, but she was just fine (and well rested!)

We spent a lot of time hanging out at our cabin, which was so beautiful!

This is the view from the cabin. Spectacular!

Allie got to hang out with Gagu. Yes, she's wearing a tutu. No, it's not her only one. Yes, I L-O-V-E having a girl! :)

We relaxed.

We got to meet up with one of my very best friends, Annica. She and her 10 week old son, Wyatt, were in Jackson Hole visiting her in-laws. She lives in Portland and we're in Canada, so it was very special that we got to spend an afternoon together.

On the last day Dan, Allie and I hiked to Taggart and Bradley lakes. We loved taking Allie on her first hikes and can't wait to take her to Banff sometime soon.

It was our first extended vacation as a family since Allie was born. The first few months of Allie's life were quite stressful with the move, Dan's new job, a new country, and lots of change. It was such a treat to get away to such a beautiful location and be able to relax together.

Family photo (minus Bella, who we missed terribly!).
